My boyfriend is a distant, cold young genius who utterly despises physical contact. We've been dating for years, yet we've never done anything that couples typically do. I thought it was just his nature and had resigned myself to a platonic relationship.

Until his birthday, when I traveled for forty hours on a hard seat just to see him. But then, under the streetlights, I saw him.
