The plane was overbooked, and Hailey Evans, the flight attendant, asked if I could take the next flight.

She offered compensation equivalent to half a ticket's price, and I gladly agreed.

But when the next flight arrived, it was overbooked again.

I received another compensation and thought it was an excellent chance to make some money.

Until the big screen showed massive flight changes.

News flooded in about a chemical plant explosion near the airport, with the entire airport gradually enveloped by spreading toxic gas.

That's when I realized, I had been caught in a capitalist trap.
